Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ), periodically conducts TOEFL ITP® Test. These scores are valid in an application to the TUJ Undergraduate Program and Graduate Programs (Graduate College of Education, Beasley School of Law).

The TOEFL ITP® Test at Temple University Japan (TUJ) Test Center is only for those who will apply to TUJ. Therefore, those who have already initiated the application process for a program or those who have already started to prepare to apply are eligible to take the TOEFL ITP® Test. Those wanting to take a TOEFL ITP® Test who have not yet contacted the program they want to apply to should please contact the program first.

TUJ's Academic English Program (AEP) offers TOEFL ITP® Test preparation courses (classes are online some semesters), which include one actual TOEFL ITP® Test administration as part of the course each semester. Please confirm which testing date is included in your course. • Registration will be closed when it reaches full enrollment.
• If there are available seats after the deadline, you will be able to register TOEFL ITP® Test Registration Form.
• You may not register for tests conducted in Tokyo and Kyoto in the same month.
• You may not take the test twice (morning and afternoon) on the same day.
• Examinees will not be able to take the test without a photo ID (Passport, driver's license, student ID, My Number card, etc.) and test fee will be forfeited
• Please note that cancellations and refunds are not available after making a reservation.

Registration

Please register at TOEFL ITP® Test Registration Form.

Payments are accepted by credit card only. If you are unable to make payment via credit card, please contact tujtest@tuj.temple.edu.

Once your registration is completed, TOEFL ITP® Test Registration【予約完了のお知らせ】will be sent to the email address you provided. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder and contact tujtest@tuj.temple.edu if necessary.

What to Bring

1. Photo ID 
   Note: Photo ID Required for Exam Admission

   You must bring a valid photo ID to take the exam. If you do not have an acceptable photo ID, you will not be allowed to take the exam. Please make sure to prepare it in advance.
   Please note that if you are not permitted to take the exam due to lack of proper identification, the exam fee will not be refunded.

   • My Number Card
   • Residence Card

   Please make sure to bring one of the above documents on the day of the exam. Even if your ID is technically valid, if the test supervisor determines that it is not sufficient to confirm your identity, you may be asked to present an additional form of ID. In such cases, you may also be asked to have your photo taken on the day and/or to bring valid identification again at a later date. Thank you for your understanding.

   Note: You are allowed to bring soft ear plugs to reduce distractions

Test Results

Test results will arrive at the testing facility eight business days after the exam date, and then will be sent to each program of the examinees' choice. Each program that you are applying to (Undergraduate Program, Graduate College of Education or Beasley School of Law) will then contact you via e-mail about your results. Please note that it may take some days to receive your TOEFL ITP® Test score from the program.

TOEFL ITP® Test that TUJ offers is conducted only for the purpose of registration to TUJ programs. Therefore, score slips will be sent directly to each program that a student is applying to and will not be given to examinees.
