About the Diamond Dinner
The annual Diamond Dinner brings members of the Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) community together with friends and supporters in a year-end celebration on the eve of the school’s commencement weekend.
The evening is also an important fund-raising event with all proceeds directly benefiting student scholarships. More than half of all TUJ students receive some form of financial aid to meet their educational costs, yet demand for aid exceeds available resources, and TUJ relies on the generosity of donors to help meet the scholarship needs of our students.
Maintaining the free .ow of people, information and ideas across cultures and borders is critical to the production of knowledge, and providing opportunities for students to study abroad is an important component in fostering universal values and understanding that benefit us all.
