ABOUT THE DIAMOND DINNER
The annual Diamond Dinner at Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) brings together members of the university community with friends and donors for a celebration at the end of each academic year.
The evening is also an important fund-raising event with all proceeds underwriting financial aid for students.
More than half of all TUJ students receive some form of .nancial aid or scholarship to meet their educational expenses, yet demand far exceeds available resources, and TUJ must rely upon the generosity of outside donors to help meet student needs.
The proceeds from this year’s dinner will support need-based scholarships for TUJ students, and also help support visiting Ukrainian refugee students who are enrolled at TUJ.
Maintaining the free .ow of people, information and ideas across borders is critical to international peace, the production of knowledge, and our collective prosperity.
Providing students from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds the resources they need to study together and learn from one another is a critical factor in fostering the universal values and understanding that ultimately bene.t us all as global citizens.
