The 2023 TUJ Commencement ceremony will be held on Friday, May 19th at Hitomi Memorial Hall on the campus of Showa Women's University. Eligible degree candidates should register on or before April 6th to participate.

If you have received an invitation e-mail, please register using the link provided in the email. The link is customized to each graduate and can’t be shared with other classmates. If you cannot locate your invitation e-mail, please request it from the button below and register using the link in the email sent to your TU mail account.

Timetable and Regalia Purchase

Check-in for degree candidates begins at 17:00 on the 1st floor of Hitomi Memorial Hall, Showa Women’s University. Graduates must check in no later than 18:15.

All graduating students are required to wear appropriate academic attire during the ceremony. Please order your regalia on or before April 6th. The payment instruction will be provided to you by the vendor upon your placement of order.

Please note:

  • Food and drink are not allowed in the building. Please finish your dinner prior to check-in.
  • TUJ will take photographs and film footage during the event. These images may be used for promotional purposes by TUJ or placed on the TUJ website. If you are unwilling to be filmed or photographed, please speak with your program coordinator prior to the ceremony.
