Sophia University and Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) will hold a joint career fair. This event will be held entirely in English. Most companies will be hiring students graduating by Spring 2026, but all TUJ students (international and Japanese), including underclassmen, may attend. Recent alumni are also welcome.

This year we have added a virtual “Career Fair Prep Seminar”  on Wednesday, September 25 at 12pm where we will share details on each company and their open positions, as well as strategies for navigating the fair. Attendance is optional but strongly encouraged!

Note: Japanese may be necessary later in the screening process. However, all of the participating companies are open to hiring students with less than fluent Japanese.

Who Should Attend

All TUJ students and alumni are welcome to participate. If you are in junior or senior year, this is a chance to be connected to companies and get job offer. Also, freshmen and sophomore students will enjoy talking to HR representatives and collecting information for their future job search. If you are an MBA, Law, TESOL student or TUJ alumni interested in attending the fair, please contact us.

To Do List before the Event

  1. Prepare to appeal yourself, including concrete examples showing your strengths
  2. Research target companies and prepare to explain your reasons to apply to and how you can contribute to these companies
  3. Attend the Career Fair Prep Seminar  (optional)

The event will be held on Sophia University Yotsuya Campus  in Building 2.

Here are detailed instructions with photos  showing how to get to the venue from TUJ. Also, we will have volunteers escorting groups of students to the event at 2:45, 3:30, 4:10, and 5:30pm. If you’d like to go with a group, please meet us in the TUJ lobby before one of the departure times. (Of course, you’re welcome to go by yourself.)
