John Price is a foreign attorney at Uryu & Itoga, an international law firm based in Tokyo, Japan. His legal practice focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and general corporate law.
He previously worked in-house at LIXIL Corporation in Tokyo, Japan. Before coming to Japan, he has worked at boutique intellectual property law firms in New York City and Virginia prosecuting trademarks and patent applications. He has also worked for Big Four consulting firms in the US and Japan concentrating in business valuation and transfer pricing analyses.
He earned his Juris Doctor at Rutgers University where he was a Dean's Scholar. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering and Minor in Business Administration, with Honors, at Drexel University.
He is admitted to the bar in New York, New Jersey and in the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Rikkyo University.
