Research
Janice Tan's research revolves around educational psychology and technology in higher education. Her interest areas include affective experience of learning in technology-enhanced environments, classroom social climate, and instrument development. She has developed and validated an Emotional Presence Scale to measure higher education learners’ experience of emotions in the learning process.
