Evelyn Farlov has a MSc in Political Science from Copenhagen University, where she studied Foreign Policy and conducted her master's thesis on China’s Global Security Initiative and its influence on the Indo-Pacific region. She first came to Japan in July 2022 for an internship at the Embassy of Denmark in Tokyo where she worked in the Department of Political and Economic Affairs. She assisted the team with NATO, and EU-related activities while producing reports on Japan’s domestic and foreign political affairs for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. Evelyn is fluent in Danish, Chinese and English. She lived in the Xinjiang Province of China until 2009 whereafter she moved to Denmark to continue her school education and later university.
