Date: Wednesday, March 01, 2023 7:00 AM - Wednesday, March 01, 2023 9:00 PM
Location: TEPCO Dai-1 Power Plant, Fukushima Prefecture

This exclusive day-trip provides inside access to tour the grounds of the Daiichi nuclear plant, hosted and closely monitored for your safety by TEPCO (Tokyo Electric), with an opportunity to see the impact of the meltdown disaster on nearby evacuated villages. Groups of students and professors from Temple University Japan have visited the nuclear plant 4 times previously and have organized our next visit to the site on March 1, 2023. This all-day bus excursion will involve an onsite Orientation, an amazing, close-up tour of the Daiichi plant itself, followed by a technical briefing we have requested with TEPCO officials. Join this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness history-in-the-making.

This event will take place during an Undergraduate Holiday!
