Interested in Studying Abroad?

Studying abroad is a one-of-a-kind experience that not only allows students to immerse themselves in a new culture while learning about the host country's customs, traditions, and local language, but it also serves as a path to self-discovery and can shape the course of your future.

Temple University, Japan Campus provides students with a variety of study abroad opportunities through partnerships with exchange universities, external programs, and even our own overseas campuses.

Study Abroad Advising

Students interested in studying abroad can seek assistance from TUJ's Study Abroad Coordinator, who can help students learn more about studying abroad, select the best program based on their academic, professional, and personal goals, and assist with applications. They also provide pre- and post-departure support.

You can meet with the Study Abroad Coordinator virtually or in-person:

1.    Schedule an appointment: You can schedule an appointment via email (goabroad@tuj.temple.edu) or through the link below:

2.    In-person Walk-In: The Study Abroad Coordinator is available to meet in the Office of Student Services and Engagement (Room 104) from 9 AM to 5:30 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Students are also encouraged to meet with an academic advisor at the Academic Advising Center to discuss how studying abroad fits into their academic plan and ensure that the credits earned abroad will properly fulfill their Temple degree requirements.
