Full-time status is 12-18 credits in the fall and spring semesters, and 9 credits in the optional summer semester. Cost and duration may vary depending on whether a student attends summer semester(s).

- Students who are sponsored by TUJ for a student visa who wish to stay in Japan over the summer must enroll in classes during summer semester. Otherwise, they must leave Japan, and can re-enter Japan 30 days prior to the start of fall semester.
