Sports Clubs offer students the opportunity to join and play their favorite activities with peers on both TUJ and SWU grounds.

Student organizations—created and run by students—are overseen by Student Engagement which is housed within the Office of Student Services and Engagement (OSSE).

*Please keep in mind many clubs are inactive during the summer semester. If your favorite club is inactive this semester, check again in the Fall and Spring when clubs are most active!

Badminton Club

Welcome to Badminton club, this semester (Summer 2025), we will be meeting every Tuesday night 8pm-10pm at the TUJ gym. Feel free to come! We have two courts for casual play and two courts for our competitive team to train! Everyone at every level is welcome!

Hello everyone! We are TUJ Baseball Club!

Basketball Club

The goal of the basketball club is to create a comfortable environment to relieve stress from studying through exercise, and for anyone to play basketball no matter their skill level. As well, to have somewhere to enhance interpersonal skills, and have opportunities to create lasting friendships with people who share similar hobbies and interests.

Futsal Club (Soccer)

It’s not soccer its futsal! TUJ futsal is a collection of students of all skill levels who enjoy playing futsal every Tuesday and Thursday from 18:00 - 20:00 on the SWU South Ground!

Jiujitsu Club

Jiu Jitsu is a martial art that focuses on self defense and encompasses many training techniques. We are a club that strives to be welcoming, inclusive, and safe for everyone that wants to join.

We are the club for the martial arts practice of Kendo. We are having joint practices with the Showa Women's University Kendo Club in the old gym or the underground gym (Building #8).

We practice Tuesdays and Fridays, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Pickleball is a smaller version of tennis with some slightly altered rules. All levels are welcome.

TUJ Figure Skating Club [NEW]

Volleyball Club

Our goal is to gather students that are interested in volleyball, regardless of skill level, and to create an environment where people feel comfortable to express themselves and develop as a player and as a person. It is a place where students can get together and interact over a shared interest in volleyball while also developing teamwork and communication skills with one another, regardless of language barriers. But most importantly, to share a good time with one another and to have fun playing the sport!
