List of Clubs & Organizations (Affinity Clubs)

Affinity Clubs are general interest clubs where students can meet new friends with similar interests. These interest clubs cover a broader range of interests that do not fall into the Culture or Sports Club categories.

Student organizations—created and run by students—are overseen by Student Engagement which is housed within the Office of Student Services and Engagement (OSSE).

*Please keep in mind clubs may choose to be inactive during certain semesters. If your favorite club is marked inactive this semester, check again on the following semester and they may be active then, or reach out to the club leaders directly to follow up on the status of the club!

Hello! We are the TUJ Book Club, and we discuss books, manga, webtoons and other story works! Business Negotiation Network

The Business Negotiation Network is a unique opportunity to learn about the law, business, and psychology. While also having the chance to participate in a international negotiation competition with over 30 other colleges from all over the world. BNN collaborates with top universities from Tokyo. In BNN you will learn new skills that you will carry with you throughout your career, make new friends, and create everlasting memories.

A collaborative group of ambitious students who wanna learn more about consulting and learn practical skills that can be applied to any industry. Cyber Owls [Inactive FA25]

The Cybersecurity & Ethical Hacking Club aims to cultivate a community of students interested in digital security. We provide an inclusive space for learning about ethical hacking, cybersecurity principles, and programming. Through hands-on workshops, guest speakers, and collaborative projects, members will develop practical skills in identifying vulnerabilities and protecting systems. Our activities cater to all skill levels, fostering a culture of curiosity and collaboration among aspiring cybersecurity professionals.

DJ Club

Whether you’re an experienced DJ or someone who’s just been dreaming of pressing play, this is a place to grow. DJ club is a sound community that gives people the space to explore new music, learn a new skill, and make new friends. We aim to grow a community full of opportunities to develop your DJ skills, and to perform them in front of a crowd. We learn together, play together, and create moments that feel special. From chill practice sessions to live student parties, every gathering is a chance to explore who you are, through sound. We accept new members all year round. Feel free to come and just listen or learn a new skill. We welcome all styles, all skill levels, and all stories. TUJ is a global campus, and this club reflects that. No matter where you’re from or what language you speak, music connects us.

Fashion & Business Club [NEW]

The Fashion Business Club is a space for students to explore the many sides of the fashion industry, from design and marketing to management, media, and production. Our purpose is to help members gain a deeper understanding of the different career paths available in fashion and the skills needed to succeed.

Through guest speakers, panel talks, and behind-the-scenes insights, members will have the chance to learn directly from professionals about the realities of working in the industry. The club will also serve as a networking platform, connecting students with both experts and peers who share an interest in fashion.

While our focus is on career development, the club will also be a fun and welcoming community. We plan to host events, interactive activities, and creative workshops that give members opportunities to share ideas, collaborate, and build lasting friendships.

Whether you’re considering a career in fashion or simply want to learn more about the industry, the Fashion Business Club offers the tools, connections, and inspiration to help you take the next step.

TUJ Motorsports Club is the club dedicated to welcoming all students, especially those who are interested in gathering to watch racing events and movies, interested in going to race car related events, and more! We went to a car meet in Daikoku where we interacted with owners of rare antiques and supercars. In Fall 2025, we plan to do all that and more, all with a (complimentary) donut in hand!

Owl Post [NEW]

The Owl Post is a student-run newsletter club dedicated to producing thoughtful, creative, and well-researched content that reflects the diverse interests and experiences of our university community. Our publication covers a wide range of topics, including politics, local news, art, fashion, lifestyle, Japanese culture, student life, and faculty features. We aim to serve as both a platform for student expression and a practical resource—offering advice for new and international students on matters such as health insurance, opening bank accounts, and navigating life in Japan.

We are currently seeking passionate and proactive members with skills in writing, editing, photography, and design. If you're curious, and eager to connect with others through storytelling, interviews, and visual media, we want to hear from you!
