Summer in Japan is the season of festivals, and one of the most famous is the Awa Odori (Awa Dance). Originally from the Tokushima area, this dance also became popular in some Tokyo neighborhoods, the most popular being in the Koenji district in western Tokyo. An organization from this neighborhood has agreed to teach us more about this traditional dance so that you can be part of it too!
