The Office of Student Services and Engagement (OSSE) is excited to share that we are embarking on a significant initiative to revamp and enhance our TUJ Student Government. Our goal is to create a more effective and dynamic body that better serves your needs and strengthens our community connections.
To allow ample time for thoughtful changes and improvements, TUJ has decided to postpone the Student Government elections traditionally held in the Fall to the beginning of the Spring 2025 semester. This will give us the Fall 2024 semester to carefully consider and implement necessary modifications to the structure and purpose of the Student Government.
Students Input Matters!
As we move forward with this process, we want to hear from TUJ students. Your voice is crucial in shaping the future of the TUJ Student Government. We invite you to share your thoughts and ideas on what you would like to see your Student Government work on. TUJ students will receive a form via email that they can use to help us with this task.
We understand that there may be some concerns about the absence of a Student Government for the Fall 2024 semester. However, we believe that this temporary pause is essential to ensure that the new structure will be more effective and better aligned with your needs.
Thank you for your understanding and participation. We are eager to hear your ideas and work together to build a strong TUJ Student Government to represent the student community.
