Major: Psychological Studies

I choose TUJ because of how diverse the student body is. Once I started, I realized that the diversity of the university goes beyond race and ethnicity. Everyone I have met at TUJ has a different story and a different point of view. This diversity made my university life more interesting, lively and fulfilling. I am thankful for all the opportunities I had at TUJ including tutoring at the Teaching & Learning Center, being a research assistant, doing collaborative research, and working for Academic English Program events. I also took the chance to do three internships as part of my degree. Internships are a fantastic way for students to kick-start their career. My supervisors at my internships were always willing to teach me how to improve my skills. My life at TUJ not only prepared me for pursuing a master’s degree or starting my career, it also helped me understand what I want to do with my life.
