Date: Saturday, September 17, 2022 11:00 AM - Saturday, September 17, 2022 2:30 PM
Location: Omotesando, Tokyo
Everyone has scars on their body that remind them of their past. In the Japanese mentality, this also happens with objects. From this philosophy comes the technique of kintsugi, the art of repairing broken pottery with gold. Instead of trying to disguise the wounds, this tradition decides to highlight them in a beautiful way, in order to remember the life and history of the objects. In this workshop you too will be able to test your skills with this technique by the hand of master Taku Nakano.
