Overview of TUJ Master In Management Adjunct Faculty

Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) is looking for a part-time faculty member who can teach Accounting in the Master in Management Program 

Master in Management Program
Designed for recent college graduates from all backgrounds, the one-year Master in Management (MiM) in Tokyo delivers a comprehensive introduction to the world of business. Students develop knowledge and experience in business concepts, data analysis, financial and accounting principles, and organizational ethics. 

The MiM program is taught with cohort-based courses. Starting once per year, in August, students progress through all courses together, supporting each other, and getting to know one another all while fostering life-long friendships. In this learner-centered environment, TUJ professors create a space for students to learn, explore ideas, and support each other. 

This program is part of the Fox School of Business and is accredited by the prestigious AACSB (Association of the Advancement of Colleges and Schools of Business).

Overview of position

Adjunct Instructor for the following course:

ACCT 5411 - Financial & Managerial Accounting in Decision Making (3 Credit Hours).

Introduction to fundamental concepts of financial and managerial accounting with a focus on analysis and interpretation of financial statements for decision making.

These positions are part-time for the semester, with the possibility to continue teaching in the future. Successful applicants will teach one or two courses per semester.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Terminal degree in Accounting or a related field, to be awarded by start date.
  • CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • Teaching excellence at the university level.
  • Industry experience in accounting or finance preferred.
  • Fluency in English required.
