Some students practice Japanese pottery in the picture

Discover the interesting path of Japanese pottery by the hand of master Taku Nakano. In this activity we will visit his peculiar workshop located in the heart of Tokyo. Nakano-sensei will teach us how to make different objects using Japanese pottery techniques that have been passed down from father to son.

Before the workshop begins, sensei will give us a demonstration on techniques and how to use the spinning wheel so our clay doesn’t plop on the floor!
