For the first time in TUJ history, 22 students enjoyed an OSSE x TUJ Program Board Yakatabune boat ride in the heart of Tokyo. A ride that offered beautiful views of the city’s famous landmarks, such as Tokyo Tower and Sky Tree.

On board the ship, the night started with some mandatory safety information and complimentary soft drinks. Students brought their favorite meals as they enjoyed the breathtaking views from the boat. As everyone enjoyed their dinner, the night began with a round of bingo game, in which three lucky owls were able to win Amazon gift cards.

As we arrived in Odaiba, the boat stopped at a beautiful view of the city for students to take memorable pictures and soak up the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Luckily for the owls the weather cleared up just in time to enjoy the calm atmosphere.

After the short stop, students were given various treats to snack on to warm up. The students got together for a karaoke session and sang their hearts out to hits like Bohemian Rhapsody, Party in the U.S.A., and many more. Having sung and talked all the way back to the point of embarkation, we wrapped up the night with a group picture.
