TUJ PROGRAM BOARD · 10/31/2024

On October 31st, the TUJ Program Board, in collaboration with OSSE, hosted the second Halloween event! TUJ owls not only dressed up in spooky and creative costumes for class but also for the Program Board's fun and chill Halloween event. Parliament was heavily decorated to fit the theme of the beloved movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. Doors opened at 17:30, and the eager students who had been waiting in line could enjoy free donuts, various snacks, and coffee from our very own TUJ Coffee Makers Club! Various minigames were enjoyed.

The evening had various kinds of activities, from guess the candy, a temporary tattoo station, a mummy wrapping game, and bingo. Guess the candy had three mysterious jars filled with candy, and students could guess how many candies were in each one. During the mummy wrapping game, students competed in teams of two for a prize. Our last activity, bingo, was one of the highly anticipated events of the night as the whole parliament was engaged, and the excitement grew as more numbers were drawn.

The night ended with a streaming of the movie the event was based on and snacks to enjoy with it!
