We are proud to present Temple University, Japan Campus’ annual Counselor Fly-in Program! This is an opportunity to connect with TUJ students and hear of their experiences with choosing the Temple option. Learn how TUJ continues to expand by connecting with key administrators and faculty located on both our campus in Tokyo and TUJ Kyoto. The Counselor Fly-in Program is not just a campus tour in Tokyo and Kyoto; it’s an immersive experience in TUJ’s vibrant and culturally diverse environment.

General schedule

• Fall semester: Interest form open for counselors to register their interest
• Spring semester: Formal invitations announced in spring to those selected to attend
• June 2025: The program is usually held in the second or third week of June and lasts for about one week

Tips and general information on what to expect

• We recommend applicants (1) check if they have a valid passport and (2) notify their appropriate department(s) in advance, if approval is required.
• Formal invitations are announced later in the spring semester, by email.
• TUJ can provide a letter of invitation in support of a visa, if required.
• Please note that due to the nature of the program, we can only accommodate a limited number of participants. Those who are not able to join this year will be considered for a future program.
