Special Scholarship Opportunities
Study in Japan
Photography by: Ryan S. Brandenberg, Temple University
There are many qualities that make Japan an ideal place to study:
- Safety: Approximately fourteen million people call Tokyo home. Yet it remains one of the world’s safest major metropolises, with a lower crime rate than cities half its size.
- Affordable Cost of Living: Compared to other big cities around the world, the average cost of living in Tokyo is relatively affordable.
- Internship Opportunities: Japan and especially Tokyo continue to attract some of the world’s most successful multi-national corporations. Students can set themselves apart by gaining hands-on experience in international business settings and networking with professionals in their fields of interest.
- Exciting On and Off-Campus Life:
- Tokyo: TUJ is just two train stations from Shibuya and is convenient to other exciting downtown districts including Shinjuku, Roppongi and Asakusa.
- Kyoto: TUJ KYOTO is surrounded by famous temples and historical sites. Throughout the semester, TUJ sponsors a variety of activities and events, enriching both academic and cultural experiences.
