Dear TUJ Students, Faculty, and Staff,

As Japan Meteorological Agency has announced the arrival of Tropical Storm Jangmi (#6), we are monitoring the weather situation closely.

At this time, all of TUJ’s locations in Kyoto and Tokyo remain open together with other local businesses, offices, and government institutions. The government has not issued an advisory to close operations. We have no plans to close campus or suspend any classes or office operations currently. We will notify you if the situation changes or if transportation services are severely impacted or suspended. We will issue another update around 6:00 am tomorrow morning.

Naturally, your circumstances might vary depending on your location, so we encourage you to act as the situation allows. If you experience significant travel difficulties or delays, please contact your instructor or supervisor.

Please continue to check your email for the latest updates. Thank you for your attention and understanding. Please stay safe and allow extra time for travel if necessary.
