Teaching Interests

Mika is a Registered Japanese Language Teacher certified by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan in March 2025.

She joined the ALLEX program in the summer of 2018, and taught Japanese courses at Colby College for four years and at Oberlin College for one and half years. She also taught Japanese at Georgetown University and University of Central Arkansas.

BA in both International Studies and Communication from University of Central Arkansas.
