Areas of Expertise

Julie’s area of expertise bridges the field of neuroscience, neuroendocrinology, brain plasticity and nutritional neuroscience. Julie’s focus lies on the impact of omega-3 supplementation and environmental factors on stress across adolescence and adulthood.

Teaching Interests

Julie specializes in courses that explore the intricate relationship between brain function and behavior. Julie’s areas of focus include neuroscience, affective neuroscience, neuroendocrinology and psychopharmacology. I am also dedicated to guiding students through the foundational principles of research methods, fostering critical thinking and scientific inquiry across all areas of neuroscience.
