NOTICE: Continuing Train Service Disruption

Dear Tokyo UG students,

Train service on the Den-en Toshi line continues to be suspended due to the train derailment that happened late Sunday night. Based on current reports,  train service could also be disrupted on Tuesday. We will send an email to the TUJ community around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday to confirm whether classes will be held on campus as usual or online via Zoom. Please check your email tomorrow morning for the latest update.

Please note that the Tokyo campus will be open on Tuesday regardless.

Best regards,

Dean Wilson

All UG classes in Tokyo shifting to ONLINE today -- train accident

Dear Tokyo UG students,

Due to service delays and disruptions on the Den-en-toshi Line due to an accident last night, we have decided to shift classes online today.  Your faculty should be sending out Zoom links for class.

Campus will be open today, so please feel free to use campus to tune into your class from your original classroom. In some cases, your professor might be teaching and streaming your class from the original classroom.

Please note that some of your faculty might be stuck on their way to campus, so please stay tuned for additional details from your faculty member.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,

Dean Wilson
