Philip DiMola is an attorney with over a decade of legal experience specializing in media, entertainment, and technology law. Prior to coming to Japan, Philip was Corporate Counsel for Prime Video at Amazon, where he advised on strategic global content partnerships and distribution agreements as well as product and regulatory matters. He currently works at Amazon in a strategy role focused on consumer innovation.

Before joining Amazon, Philip served as legal counsel for Paramount Global (formerly ViacomCBS) overseeing new streaming services such as Pluto TV and advising on traditional cable affiliation distribution deals. Earlier in his career, he practiced as a commercial litigator at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP and Troutman Sanders LLP, representing Fortune 500 companies in complex disputes in state and federal court.

Philip earned his Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is admitted to the bar in New York and California.
