Miriam is a registered foreign lawyer licensed in the Philippines and the State of New York. She is a Counsel at Oh-Ebashi LPC & Partners in Tokyo where she is involved in cross-border transactions involving Asia, the U.S. and Europe as well as international dispute resolution and compliance investigation matters.

She serves as a volunteer Public Relations Officer of the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association (JCAA). She is also co-Founder and Vice-Chair of the Executive Committee of the new Energy Related Arbitration Practitioners (ENERAP) - Japan Chapter as well as the Vice-Chair, Technology, Media and Telecommunications Committee of the well-established Inter-Pacific Bar Association.

Miriam also often writes or speaks about cross-border contracts and transactions as well as international arbitration matters.
