The TUJ library holds over 50,000 books and provides access to thousands of periodical titles. Special strengths of the collection include American studies, political science, language teaching and linguistics, Asian art history, and religion. The library has done extensive purchasing of rare and out of print materials for our Asian and Japanese history collections.
In addition, Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) students and faculty have access to the vast holdings of the Temple University Libraries in Philadelphia including thousands of e-books and streaming video sites.
All reserve materials (books, DVDs, and articles) are kept at the library desk. This includes materials in the catalog with a location of "Japan Library Reserve."
Series and Journal Titles
Serial and journal titles are held in paper and online formats through the Temple University Library Portal. Our magazine and journal holdings can be checked in the Online Catalog .

Video Titles on DVD
The TUJ library holds a collection of over 3,300 DVD titles. The collection is a mix of documentaries and feature films in English and other languages with English subtitles. The collection is geared to support the curriculum and for aiding in language learning.
