The TUJ community and friends are officially invited to TUJ’s 40th Anniversary Keynote Speech by U.S. Ambassador Rahm Emanuel.

This speech will take place on Feb. 2nd (Thursday) from 3:45 pm-4:30 pm.

You can view this live at our new campus in Sangenjaya, or virtually via Zoom.

This is a unique opportunity to hear from the highest-ranking U.S. official in Japan who will be addressing our community about U.S. education in Japan as well as a host of topics. We hope that you can join us for this event.

Ambassador Emanuel has an exceptional background. In addition to his current post, he has served as:

  • U.S. President Barack Obama’s Chief of Staff (2008-2010)
  • The 55th Mayor of the City of Chicago (2010-2019)
  • Member of the U.S. House of Representatives (2002-2008)
  • Advisor to U.S. President Bill Clinton (1993-1998)

The Ambassador has a wealth of experience in matters involving international business, finance, and education in addition to his leadership experience and expertise in governmental matters.
