Course Description: This course uses real news materials to expand kanji-focused vocabulary while providing insights into the background of Japanese news and media. Through carefully selected news articles, students will deepen their vocabulary and develop the ability to grasp key points quickly and accurately. Additionally, by expressing their thoughts and engaging in discussions on news topics, students will enhance their conversational skills with greater confidence.

Instructor Biography: Aki Matsukura graduated from the First Department of Literature at Waseda University. After working for a publishing company specializing in educational materials for 9 years, she started teaching Japanese in 2002. She is currently teaching classes at various Japanese language institutions and universities.
