Continuing Education courses are not graded, but are pass/no pass. Students earn a Pass mark and the corresponding number of CEUs if they meet the criteria of at least 70% attendance and 70% coursework performance. Coursework performance is based on classroom participation, assignments, quizzes, presentations, and/or projects. A Pass with Distinction is earned for at least 90% attendance and coursework.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are awarded only if a student earns a pass for the course. One CEU is the equivalent of 10 contact hours. Since this is a non-credit program, CEUs are not transferable to academic programs. However, CEUs may be included in resumes and applications to academic programs as evidence of study or training for professional or personal enrichment. CEUs may also be used to earn certificates in various areas.
