The Master in Management (MiM) provides overall management knowledge. The duration of the program is generally one year. MiM students typically are recent college graduates and have limited business or work experience. The MBA provides theoretical and practical training for business or investment management and is usually a two-year program. The typical MBA student has several years of work experience in a business-related field.
MiM classes are offered only in-person.
MiM classes start in August every year with a one-week mandatory orientation.

No, all MiM courses are taught in English at TUJ, so Japanese language won’t be necessary. However, having the language skill will be beneficial for finding an internship and career opportunities if you wish to work in Japan after graduation.
All application documents must be uploaded to the application portal site New Tab. The admission committee at the Fox School of Business will review them first. Once the committee confirms its completion, you will be asked to pay the application fee. Upon payment, we will set up an admission interview (either online or in-person). MiM will share the admission interview results with the Fox School of Business admission committee and finalize the decision. The admissions process will take approximately 4-6 weeks after you submit your complete application.
Applicants who completed an undergraduate degree in the United States or other English-speaking country are waived from the English-language testing requirements. These countries are listed on required application documents page New Tab.
Either is suitable. We prefer a recommendation letter written by those who know you well in an academic or professional setting. We don’t accept letters from personal connections such as family members or friends.

TUJ dorms are for undergraduate students. MiM students are responsible for finding their own accommodations. The MiM program provides information on housing options and how to find them through English-speaking realtors/properties.
