Designed for non-business majors with limited work experience
The Fox Master in Management is designed for recent graduates with liberal arts or other non-business-related degrees. The program curriculum delivers a comprehensive introduction to the world of business.
One-year completion pathway
This full-time, intensive program enables students to complete their studies in one year. You will join a collaborative group of students from diverse academic backgrounds and move through the program as a cohort (classes are offered in the daytime on weekdays).
Built-in time for an internship opportunity
The for-credit internship will enable students to apply knowledge gained in the classroom in the real world.

Qualifications for Admission
- Applicants must hold or be expected to receive a non-business bachelor’s degree* (or equivalent)
- Applicants must have at least a 3.0 undergraduate GPA
*Temple University Japan’s IBS (International Business Studies) graduates are eligible to apply to the Master in Management program.
Application documents must be uploaded to the Fox Application Portal.

- Nonrefundable application fee of ￥12,000. Payment notification will be sent by email.
- Certified official transcripts or mark sheets in English from every post-high school academic institution attended
- Current professional resume
- GMAT or GRE test score from within the last five years
- TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score from within the last two years for non-native English speakers*
Minimum score: 100 on iBT TOEFL
- Essay(s) – refer to the online application portal for specific essay prompt(s)
- Two letters of recommendation

*Exemption: Applicants who are from or have completed a college degree program (bachelor’s level or higher) in English in one of the following countries are exempt from the TOEFL requirement: Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, UK, or USA. Applicants who are not from or have not graduated with a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the above countries are required to submit an English proficiency test score.

Applications will be reviewed as they are received and may be considered after the deadline on a case-by-case basis.
Note: Applicants who do not have permission to reside in Japan (via citizenship or prior long-term visa) must apply for a student visa through TUJ. Students are able to begin working on their student visa application from three months before the visa application deadline of their starting semester. If a deadline falls on a weekend or Japanese national holiday, the deadline becomes the next business day.
Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis; you are encouraged to apply as early as possible to secure your decision. Applications will be accepted from undergraduate students who are in their senior year.
Tuition and Fees

For a degree, 10 courses must be completed and the estimated program cost is ¥3.7 million (including consumption tax). Payment must be made each semester.
Tuition is subject to change without written notice.
Early Decision Scholarship
A scholarship of 100,000 yen will be granted in the form of tuition remission. Applicants must apply by the Early Decision Deadline (January 15) and be admitted to the program in order to be eligible for this scholarship.
Temple Alumni Rewards
Temple is committed to your success. A 5% tuition scholarship will be granted to alumni who are admitted to the program.
Federal Financial Aid
Only U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. can apply for Federal Student Aid from the United States. Applicants who are either U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents can complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by visiting the Student Financial Services (SFS) website of Temple University Main Campus.
All applicants are encouraged to become familiar with the SFS website information. The Temple University School code for FAFSA applications is 003371.
