Celebrating 25 Years of Leadership in Global Legal Education

The Beasley School of Law, Temple University, Japan Campus held its 25th Anniversary Events on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.

Academic Forum: 25 Years and Beyond: Shaping Global Legal Practice in Japan and the U.S.

In the age of globalization, a vital question for legal educators is how to best prepare law students for the complexities of legal practice in an interconnected world economy. In this forum panel discussion, thought leaders in academia and private practice will trace the landscape of legal education in Japan and the U.S., and address the challenges law schools face in training legal practitioners to work effectively in a global context. Representing diverse points of view, panel speakers will stimulate discussion by taking a critical look at whether internationalizing legal education curricula aptly shapes future practitioners to meet the demands of cross-border legal practice.

About CLE Credit

Temple Law School is an accredited provider of continuing legal education (CLE) in Pennsylvania. Various states, including California and New York, recognize Pennsylvania CLE credits. However, attorneys are responsible for checking with the CLE board in their jurisdiction before attending the CLE seminar whether Pennsylvania CLE credits will count towards their CLE requirements and what their jurisdiction requires them to do to claim out-of-state CLE credits. Please inform us before the seminar if your CLE board requires anything other than a copy of the Pennsylvania CLE credit form and a certificate of attendance.
