From "Everyday English" to "University English"
Temple University, Japan Campus, Academic English Program (AEP) offers English courses to study English from "Everyday English" to "University English." We offer courses specialized in the academic English skills throughout the year that are necessary at universities and graduate schools. We also offer internships and courses for English teachers. Short-term courses in which students can experience American-style student-centered classes are also offered for elementary school students to university students of various English levels.

AEP courses will have different class formats (on campus, online, or a combination of both) depending on the course. Please visit the course webpage to find information regarding the class formats.

Notice for International Students: Please note that the Academic English Program (AEP) is a non-credit-bearing program and, as such is not eligible for the Japanese student visa sponsorship. International students are welcome to enroll in AEP courses if they already hold a valid visa or legal status that covers the duration of their studies in Japan. For questions regarding visa types and eligibility, please contact the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence.
