Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025 10:00 AM - Saturday, June 21, 2025 12:00 PM
Location: Temple University, Japan Campus Kyoto

The rainy season may have dampened your spirits, but the monthly Flea Market at Toji ~ Japan’s tallest & most distinguished pagoda, a World Heritage Site in its own right ~ will perk you up with an amazing (& tempting) display of affordable pottery, kimono, cultural nick-nacks, and unique souvenirs for ‘folks back home’. Held every month on the 21st, the Toji Flea Market is filled with sights, sounds, and… food ~ yes!, stalls selling a variety of Japanese comfort food just right for a street fair. Stop by an ATM before Saturday, though, as many booths will be ‘cash only’. Sign up and join this Saturday morning’s excursion led by TUJ Kyoto’s David Satterwhite, Experiential Education Coordinator in Kyoto!
