On Friday 10/6 from 6PM, the TUJ Program Board held the inaugural TUJ Trivia night together with Ace, a staff member at TUJ’s IT Help Desk.

The event was open to everyone in the TUJ community from students, to faculty and staff. The participants tested their knowledge in a total of 6 categories; general knowledge, History & Geography, Sports, Movies & TV, Music, and Japan.

6 teams and a total of around 70 people participated in this fun event, competing against each other to see who was the most trivia-savvy.

At the start of the event, MC host Ace mentioned that “the more diverse your team, the better,” as the different types of knowledge brought by diverse experiences could aid a team in answering specific questions. Indeed, the teams had to gather their knowledge to answer each question, sharing their expertise in the process.

The winners of the night were a TUJ staff team, though all teams were in close competition!
