We hope you are excited to finally be in Japan! Stretch out your legs as you join our TUJ Student Workers and Japan Admit students on a tour of historic Yokohama and its famous Chinatown. What better way to start your adventure in Japan than exploring with your fellow Owls?! 

This is the perfect chance to make some friends and have fun before the on-campus welcome week sessions begin!

Tours are subject to modifications and changes

10AM-11AM Tour of TUJ, Starting in Cafeteria 
Meet in the Cafeteria of TUJ from 9:30. Tours start at 10 AM. Student Workers will show you around the TUJ campus you can familiarize yourself with the facilities and visit the student support offices.    

11AM-12PM Living in Japan & Visa Info Session, Rooms 301 and 303 
In this session, we will talk about health and safety and the essentials of living in Japan. We will also teach you the essentials of the Japanese visa regulations.

12PM-1PM Lunch with the Office of Student Services and Engagement, Cafeteria 
Join us for lunch! Food will be provided by the Office of Student Services and Engagement.

1PM-2PM Travel in Japan Session - With Student Engagement, Rooms 301 and 303
Our Student Engagement Dept. has prepared a presentation about traveling in Japan! Learn about the activities and trips Engagement has planned for the semester as well as tips and recommendations for planning your own excursions!

2PM-3PM Hoot for Diversity: Build Your Community at TUJ, Rooms 301 and 303 
Start building your community at TUJ by sharing stories with identity-based club members! 

3PM-4PM Being the best you – stress management and self-care, Room 301 and 303
The transition to college or life in a new country is for sure exciting but can be stressful. The TUJ Counseling Office invites you to a discussion on how to take good care of yourself while experiencing an exciting transition to a new environment. 

10AM-2PM Workshops and Activities by TUJ Clubs, Cafeteria and Parliament  
TUJ Clubs have prepared some workshops and fun things to do in the Cafeteria and Parliament! Stop by for a minute and enjoy this opportunity to make some friends while having fun!

Explore TUJ in the most fun way! Join this scavenger game where you will be exploring the whole TUJ campus with Hooter, our mascot!
 
5:30PM-7PM New Students Welcome Reception, Cafeteria, and Parliament 
To celebrate the end of the New Students Welcome week, we have prepared a reception with Dean Wilson. There will be lots of food, lots of opportunities to make friends... and a very special guest!
