TUJ's rolling-admissions procedures allow students to apply year-round. Applicants can apply for admission to TUJ up to three semesters in advance and are encouraged to apply as early as possible to secure their enrollment for a future semester. Admissions decisions are typically released within four weeks.
Applicants who need a student visa must submit all student visa application documents by the visa application deadline. Access to the visa application is granted upon admission and during the visa application period. Please prepare the required documents in advance.
Notes:
- Early Action applicants receive priority review and acceptance is non-binding
- Applicants wishing to begin their studies online (first semester or more) are subject to the final deadline for the relevant semester.
- Applicants currently holding a student visa sponsored by another institution are subject to the deadlines for Those seeking a student visa through TUJ.
- Applicants without permission to reside in Japan (via citizenship or existing long-term visa) must apply for a student visa through TUJ.
- If a deadline falls on a weekend or Japanese national holiday, it will be extended to the next business day.
- We recommend applying early to secure your preferred location. Applications submitted close to the deadline may be directed to our other location in Japan if capacity is reached.
