Bridge Program Repeat Policy

Bridge students who do not complete the program after their first attempt must repeat all the program components in the following semester and earn the required grades listed above.

Bridge students are granted a maximum of three (3) semesters in order to complete each level of the program. If students do not earn sufficient grades after the allotted three attempts, they will be dismissed from TUJ.

Repeat Procedure

First Repeat (Second Atempt):

Students may register by following the regular registration procedure in accordance with the Academic Advising Center's instruction.

Second Repeat (Third Atempt):

Students must submit a Petition for Third Registration for the same course (PDF link below) to the Academic Advising Center (AAC) and request an interview with the AAC Director or designee. The third attempt will be granted only with the agreement of the Dean of TUJ and the Academic Advising Center. This procedure must be completed by the last day to add courses for that particular semester.

Notes:

  • Students who successfully complete Bridge 3 may matriculate into Temple University only if they have a cumulative GPA of 2.00 at Temple University and no outstanding provisions on their initial admission. All students are required to matriculate before they complete 30 credits.
  • After successful completion of the Bridge Program, students are to attend the academic advising and registration session conducted by the Academic Advising Center. Attendance is mandatory. The Academic Advising Center announces the expected advising schedule to Bridge students in advance.
