Library
Get access to a collection of over 55,000 books and several hundred journals and magazines. Students can also access the online resources of Temple University and borrow materials from libraries worldwide, including those of Japanese universities through inter-library loan.
Student Services
The Office of Student Services (OSS) provides orientations to help students assimilate into the academic and social life at TUJ, in addition to providing assistance with the visa application process and coordinating financial aid and housing. The office also organizes student events and activities.
Career Support
The Career Development Office conducts career fairs and seminars on employment strategies, provide career counseling, and offer guidance on writing resumes and interviewing techniques applicable to both Japanese and multinational companies in Japan.
Academic Advising
Academic advisors provide students with group and individual advising sessions. Students can receive advising on their academic plans and options, graduation status, transfer to Temple's main campus in Philadelphia, and other academic questions or concerns.
Computer Labs & Services
TUJ has six computer labs equipped with Windows, Mac and Unix computers with a variety of office and design software applications. Campus-wide wireless network is available both at Azabu and Mita Halls. The office also provides computer related support to students, staff and faculty.
Counseling Services
Professional counselors are available to provide free and confidential counseling services both in English and Japanese. The services include individual and group counseling, psychological testing, and phone consultation. The office also offers workshops on stress management, time management, communication skills and other topics.
Teaching & Learning Center
The Teaching & Learning Center tutors students in academic writing, mathematics and statistics, Japanese, economics and other subjects. The center also features a customized language-learning lab and individual study spaces.
Testing Services
At the Test Center at TUJ, you can take the standardized tests, such as TOEFL, GRE, PMI, GED, LSAT, CLEP, and many more, some on a regular basis and others as needed. Test Center also provides proctor services for individuals as well as test administration services for organizations and corporations.
