Dear students, staff and faculty:
I wanted to copy you on the note that I sent to our Overseas Owls today in light of the announcement from Prime Minister Kishida this afternoon that Japan is again closing the borders to students, interns, and business travelers for the next 30 days. So long as the Ministry of Education continues to process the newly required paperwork during this period, we are hopeful that this will not impact too many of our Overseas Owls. (The majority of these students cannot even submit until January or February.) In any event, we will continue to keep you posted and will provide additional updates at the upcoming Town Hall meeting.
