AEP Fridays – Let’s learn about foreign cultures!

Max Capacity: 30 (TUJ and AEP students in total, 4 TUJ presenters) (TUJ students only)

The AEP (Academic English Program) has prepared some activities for the exchange of cultures! Interested? On Friday, June 4th we will have a cultural exchange called "Let's learn about foreign cultures" where you will be able to teach other students about the culture and traditions of your place of origin. Besides having a good time, we will also serve snacks and give out a little something! To register, click here.

Odaiba Joypolis Visit

In June, Japan enters the rainy season. No problem for us! In this activity we will go to an indoor amusement park called Joypolis! This park, located on Odaiba in Tokyo Bay, will allow you to enjoy numerous attractions, some of them including virtual reality! You will receive a free pass, which means that you will be able to ride as many rides as you want with your fellow students!

The Nihongo and Eigo Salon are back! In these events, we will talk in English or Japanese with our neighbors from Showa Women's University. This is a perfect chance to practice these languages while making friends and having some fun. This year, we will also invite students from the British School of Tokyo! Wear Temple Red Day

(TUJ students only)

At TUJ we have an unbreakable spirit; nothing (not even a virus) can defeat us! On this day, show your Temple Spirit by wearing red (t-shirt or pants), owl, or Temple University gear. The TUJ Student Government, Dean Wilson, and OSS staff will be giving out unique prizes and raffle tickets to those who wear owl/red/TU gear from 10 am to 2 pm. Sports and Board Games Night

Start the semester in the most fun way: playing sports or board games while making friends! On this night, the gym in front of TUJ will be open for volleyball and basketball. Also, in the Parliament, the TableTop Club will be setting up numerous board games in case sports aren't your thing! You choose how to have fun that night!

Airsoft Experience

For the first time in TUJ's history, we are doing Airsoft! In this activity, we will go to an indoor Airsoft Field located in Odaiba Island. In this facility, with more than 250 square meters, you will feel like in Prison Break, trying to escape through narrow corridors that will bring you some surprises. Your weapon? An Airsoft gun. Your best defense? Your teammates! After this activity, don't miss the many shopping malls and attractions you will find in Odaiba!

Lantern DIY Event – CSSA Club

One of the biggest traditional Chinese festivals - The Mid-Autumn Festival is coming soon. CSSA decided to start off with a lantern workshop event. Lanterns are a symbol of happiness and reunion. They also represent people's expectations for a beautiful life. Of course, it can also be used as decoration and lighting. Use your imagination and creativity, and we hope you can enjoy the joy of handcraft!
