Road trip to discover the amazing Wakayama region!
Prepare your heart and mind for this trip to remote regions of Wakayama Prefecture. During this trip we will travel a stretch of the famous Kumano Kodo, an ancient pilgrimage route that runs through the south of this prefecture.
After spending the night in a hotel with a natural onsen, we will depart to the north, where we will visit Mount Koya, inscribed as a patrimony of humanity by UNESCO. We will spend the second night in a Buddhist temple in the heart of Mount Koya.
On Mount Koya we will enjoy a night tour at the Okunion Cemetery with a monk who will introduce us to the secrets of this unique place.
This event will take place on a UG holiday and a national holiday! Make sure you join us!
