Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) will launch a new master’s degree program “Master in Management” in Fall 2020. The Master in Management program is designed for recent graduates with liberal arts and other non-business related degrees. This new program delivers a curriculum based on the fundamentals of business—including accounting, finance, leadership and strategy—so that students can supplement their undergraduate degree with the knowledge that can help them succeed in today’s business world with a global perspective.

This program is set to be offered in Japan as part of the Fox School of Business at Temple University, which is accredited by AACSB International — Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Three Major Advantages of the Master in Management:

  • Designed for non-business majors with limited work experience and business knowledge
  • One-year completion pathway with 30 credits (classes are offered in the daytime on weekdays)
  • Built-in time for an internship

Comment from George Miller, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at TUJ:

“Everyone benefits by understanding the business world. If you are going to join a firm, start your own company or become a freelancer of any sort, this program can help you succeed. We’ll give you the financial understanding, technical prowess and leadership skills that can help you maximize the skills you learned as an undergraduate student.”

Comment from Mikiya Mori, Director of the Master in Management program at TUJ:

“The Master in Management program delivers a solid academic foundation by combining essential business courses and hands-on learning. Enhanced with seminars and mentorship elements, the Master in Management offers a learning experience for recent graduates with non-business degrees.”
