Brown, Associate Professor of Political Science at Temple University; Jeff Kingston, Director of Asian Studies at Temple University, Japan Campus; and Daniel Sneider, Lecturer in East Asian Studies at Stanford University, Fellow at Stanford University’s Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center.
This event features the editors and contributors to the recently published textbook, Japan’s Foreign Relations in Asia (Routledge, December 2017). Further to providing an overview of this new volume, the presentation introduces individual chapters and discusses their relevance to contemporary Japanese foreign policy. Particular emphasis is placed on Japan’s current relations with Korea, China, and Russia, as well as on the subject of Japan’s evolving security policy.
