Course Details

The power of written persuasion constitutes the core of all legal advocacy. This one-day workshop, taught by a US licensed attorney, reviews the basic principles of creating a strong written legal argument through examples and practice. After first learning the fundamentals of creating a legal cause-of-action, we will turn to the basics of laying out a cohesive, logical line of reasoning for influencing a reader. In the course of reading and analyzing case studies provided by the instructor, students will have the opportunity to practice writing their own legal arguments and develop their skills of written persuasion.
