Course Details

A second/third semester level course in digital photography including the introduction of conceptual photography and its relevant aesthetics. Emphasis is on conceptual growth and personal vision. The content of the course also will include the basics of lighting, professional printing technique through an ink-jet printer, handling compositions and motifs, and dealing with the issues in art photography. We will also produce a photo exhibition.

Participants in the course should own or have access to a digital single lens reflex (SLR) camera or a digital camera with manual functions and RAW file recording capability.

Special Note:

This course is taught simultaneously with DPH102 and DPH103. More rigorous activities are provided for students in the higher two levels to ensure that the intended learning outcomes are attained.
